**Assembly Notes:**
This **wood furniture kit** ships as a DIY base kit. The two X legs come fully assembled, and the two long skirting pieces attach to the legs using the included hardware. The legs and skirting may ship separately.
We do **not** provide screws for attaching the base to your tabletop because the correct screw length depends on the thickness of the top you are using. The skirting has predrilled pocket holes for attaching your tabletop.
For a standard **1.5" thick tabletop**, we suggest using **2.5" pocket hole screws** with the currently drilled pocket holes. Please make sure the screw length you choose is correct for your specific tabletop thickness.
**Finish:**
This **unfinished table** base is sold unfinished only. We are not offering stain or paint options on this listing. It is ready for your own stain, paint, sealer, or polyurethane.
**X Design Note:**
The X design is added for decorative farmhouse style and is not intended to be the main structural support for the table. The X pieces are nailed and glued onto the legs, and nail marks will be visible. These can be covered with wood filler during your finishing process.
If you would prefer us to fill these nail marks before shipping, please let us know before ordering. We can provide that service for an additional cost.
